I have a few of these “shacket”/overshirt, mainly to wear in Scotland when it’s dry. This one has become my favourite at the moment. It has almost all the features I need. 2 hand warmer pockets, 2 chest pockets with an extra zipped one. It’s warm & has 2 hanging hooks, 1 on the inside & 1 outside. It isn’t wool, like my other ones are, but this is actually an advantage as it can be machined washed. Although, wool shackets rarely need washing anyway. I normally size small, but bought this as M to have a bit more room to wear as an outer layer. It’s unlikely I’d wear a coat on top.

Really lovely and warm mid layer for autumn and winter. Husband loved it. Lovely colours too so very versatile (maroon and navy) so it goes with jeans very easily. His only complaint was our white / grey dog hair is very visible on it ! Very silly, superficial issue!
