Although I'm a 43inch chest the large was too bulky especially around the waist. Mine is 35in so not slim. I'm going for the medium as the quality is light years ahead of anything else I've seen and I see this as my go to packable top for all situations.

This is the first over the head jacket I have purchased and I was not dissapointed.
So good as that additional layer under a waterproof or softshell jacket on those colder days. Also good on the days when it can be worn over a shirt or a jumper as the main outer layer.
Packs down small to go in the rucksack as well as packing in to its own pocket if required.
A jacket for all seasons and now an essential part of my rucksack packing as I head off for my tour guiding walking tours around cities and countryside.
